Biography
With a string of best selling Adult blockbusters on both sides of the Atlantic, award winning director Pierre Woodman is a legend within the Adult Industry. With more than 1000 hardcore scenes, 1500 photosets, and over 7000 castings to his credit as director, Pierre Woodman boasts a level of experience in Adult movie production second to none.
Born in 1963 in France, Pierre Woodman is a man of humble origins whose early experience led him to a diversity of jobs from barman to police officer before his creative side led him into the world of fashion photography during the 1980s. Seeing the huge untapped potential in the emerging Adult Industry Pierre quickly moved into the world of erotic photography with Hot Video magazine.
Firmly established on the road to success, 1992 saw Pierre accepting a position with Private Media Group where he began to produce high budget blockbusters such as The Pyramid, Tatiana, and Riviera, developing a unique style which has always maintained a close affinity with the quality and style of traditional cinema values.
His work, as well as gaining a reputation for bestselling quality and garnering industry awards internationally, has also gained Pierre Woodman a reputation as a daring director who is never afraid to push the limits.
In 2000 Pierre was invited with a multi-million dollar contract from Larry flint of Hustler, to produce a series of movies of the high quality with which his name had become synonymous. A series of blockbusters followed including such best sellers as Brazilian Snake, and Manipulation, resulting in Pierre Woodman being acclaimed by the media as the world’s most popular porn producer.
After a brief sojourn to star alongside Daryl Hannah in the mainstream Spanish movie “Yo Puta”, and to return briefly to Private to produce the nº 1 US bestseller “Sex City” trilogy, Pierre decided to use his reputation and experience to develop his own brand. Investors were quick to support this exciting new development in the Adult Industry, and after first setting up an online affiliate programme “Spider Cash” to market his existing content, Pierre in 2006 founded the new Adult production label Woodman Entertainment and began work on the brand’s first major blockbuster, the 800,000€ “Xcalibur” starring Playboy Playmate Caylian Curtis. Woodman Entertainment sees Pierre joined by a team of experienced industry professionals to produce and market the inimitable style that has made the name Woodman such a success story.
